E!News: Britney and Jason broke up!

According to E! News, sources reveal exclusively that Britney Spears and Jason Trawick broke up almost a year in late February.

"They were fighting a lot and did not get along as before", said the source.

However, this is not the first time the couple asked for time to rethink the relationship. Spears and Trawick is supposed to be separated during the holidays in December, but were reconciled in time for the Grammy together on 31 January, when Spears Womanizer was named to the category of Best Dance Recording.

They were seen together in public for the last time on Valentine's Day, in a drive-thru McDonald's in Los Angeles.

"They needed to take a break", says the source. "I was not working". The source also believes a reconciliation between the two.

The talent agency William Morris, where Trawick works, confirmed on Tuesday that the agent is still representing Spears.

No spokesman for the singer responded to the request of E! News to comment on the separation. The way is to wait to discover if the two come back together to walk from California or the official site say that the subject is merely gossip.
