"Blackout" to enter the catalog of Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame!


The album Blackout (2007) was recently added to our catalog Music Hall of Fame Rock - a select list of albums that somehow marked the history of pop music and rock.

This may indicate that Britney Spears will join the final list of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, but this will only occur when their first album, ...Baby One More Time (1999), completing 25 years in 2024.

"Wow, the Rock Hall of Fame... I do not really know what to say!" Danja said via Twitter, a leading producer of Blackout and signing tracks like Gimme More, Get Naked & Hot As Ice. "I just want you all could have seen the process of creating this album. It was so fun and free to do what we wanted. Absolutely no pressure. The way music should be done."

Billboard recently reported that the CD reached the milestone of 1 million copies in the United States, but Spears's record label have not yet bought certified platinum.

Artists of the same generation as Britney Spears, and Spice Girls, Beyonce and Christina Aguilera albums have not yet cataloged, but the disc FutureSex/Lovesound (Justin Timberlake), Recovery (Eminem), Loud (Rihanna) and even 21 (Adele) are available for consultation!

Supposedly the final version of the track "What You Sippin' On"!


It was released early on Thursday (01) which seems to be the final version of the track What You Sippin 'On, which was supposed to be for the album Blackout.

In the new version, the rapper AC was cut, and some verses of the original music as well. Listen in the player below:

Campaign to give "Blackout" certified platinum!


The American fans are planning a major campaign to buy through physical stores and virtual album Blackout, released in October 2007.

The album sold approximately 980,000 copies in the United States. The intention is to buy at least 20,000 copies, making Blackout receive certified platinum for selling 1 million copies in the country.

The campaign comes on the 26th to the 31st of July, since it will not happen this week no major release.

Blackout is the only studio album of Britney Spears than first debuted in the Billboard 200 and has received certified platinum in the United States.

RUMOR: Britney re-recorded tracks to new album


According to information obtained by a member of Exhale, Britney Spears may have re-recorded a demo that is supposed to enter the tracklist of the album Blackout, but was discarded.

"The demo Sublime Attraction was produced in 2007 and was re-recorded for possible inclusion on the new album to fit your concept. The same was confirmed by Bloodshy & Avant in a recent interview to a TV channel in Sweden", the source. However, it is noteworthy that there is nothing confirmed and that information is considered a RUMOR.

"Blackout" is the International Best CD of the decade on MTV!


Yesterday afternoon, MTV Brazil announced the result of that super poll in which Internet users were asked to define the best of the decade. In the category Disco International, the album Blackout led the vote and won the title without difficulty.

Also in the vibe of votes, the station released a new poll, called bets 2010. There, fans can vote for artists who make beautiful this year.

Britney is again listed in the category of Disco International, as it will launch an album in a few months - at the time, she leads with 59% of the vote. To participate, visit the site and vote!
