The second day of taping of X Factor in Oakland/San Francisco took place on Sunday (17) and went without major modifications. The jurors wore the same outfit the previous day - Britney changed only the shoes and wore glasses (geek) in the first block.

Before arriving at Oracle Arena, the singer recorded a message for the fans and posted in your profile on Viddy, inviting everyone to gravarem videos showing how to dance, promising even comment on some of them!

Again the judges came together on stage, and Britney and Demi Lovato switched places for the first time on the bench.

"I like the color of your shirt, but my vote is no", said Britney's candidate for the first day, which she said was rather boring. While other candidate talked too much before performing, the singer cut him and said, "Just sing for us." During the presentation of a participant who sang Born This Way, Lady Gaga, Spears was cheered and danced in her chair. Other phrases spoken by the singer: "Fortunately I was surprised. You have an amazing voice. It was perfect!"; "He was very, very interesting. You need to express yourself. Yes, I would put him on tour with me!"; "Her voice was made for Broadway, not the radio."

When the second round of the recording was being finalized, Don Philip, the singer who recorded a duet with Britney on the track I Will Still Love You from the album ...Baby One More Time (1999), appeared on stage as a candidate to perform on X Factor.

Soon after his entrance, Don revealed his name and began to cry. "Don't cry!" Said Britney. Don told Britney had not seen for a long time and was happy to find it again. Since no one knew, and even Britney did not recognize him, everyone was confused, and he kept saying that in the early career of Spears, the label got this duet between the two, and ended up being used on her album.

When Britney remembered what he was talking, she told jurors about the track, and Don kept saying to the audience, "For 10 years, I recorded a duet and Britney. It's so good to see you again", and then Simon asked what gave him to try to revive his career after so long. Don began to explain why more than five minutes, saying he has not been truthful with him and that has been hidden with lies, posing as a victim, and ended up taking the gay scene.

Then Don said he was not taken before because their parents thought that being gay was a bad thing, and also thought that Britney would not be good for him to take gay.

Britney was stunned by his statement, and immediately said, "No, I did not say that. It is normal to be gay, I see no problem with you being gay", and was interrupted by L.A. Reid, who said he left her uncomfortable with this situation and that he needed to stop talking, but singing. Simon broke in L.A. and was even more blunt, saying he does not care whether or not he is gay and he is there to sing.

After all the drama, Don sang Halo, Beyoncé, and received four votes of the jurors, and Britney said something like, "I think over the last few years you may have gone through many difficulties and conflicts, and I think you spent more training time on it than your voice because your voice is not up to what we look for the X Factor."

After the confusion of Don, Larry Rudolph and Simon spoke with Britney on stage, and the jury made a break. After a few minutes, they returned to the table, including Britney.
