The
last day of recording the X Factor in Providence, Rhode Island, took
place on Friday (29th) afternoon and was marked by presentations with
music by Britney Spears.
Four
participants sang songs from Spears, who were ...Baby One More Time,
Circus, Someday (I Will Understand) and My Prerogative, and as in
previous recordings, all received votes of the judges and were
eliminated. Britney even received flowers from a candidate, but that did not count points in his assessment.
In
the second stage of the recording, Britney wore a black jacket of the
French designer Pierre Balmain - behind the scenes jurors ate a cake
decorated with the theme of the X Factor.
Apparently, Britney will no longer sit next to Simon Cowell. According
to some fans who attended the previous recordings, she was somewhat
lost in the middle of Simon and Demi, since both are in a vibe of
internal squabbles, while Britney remains more focused on finding a
special person in the program and analyze the vocal performance and look of each one. That's
not to say that Spears is not communicative or playful, on the
contrary, she always lets out a phrase in his criticism that causes
laughter in everyone, but it definitely will not play the role of a
juror who lives fighting with Simon, which is exactly Demi has done that.
Speaking of criticism, this last day in Providence explored different emotions of the jurors. One participant told her story about bullying, and others seemed to have prepared to perform on X Factor. After the performance of a girl, Britney said she found her voice very nasal, which led to boos in the audience. Demi was also booed after criticizing it.
Watch
the video of the jurors arrived at the arena on the first day of
recording in Providence, and an interview with Britney and Demi Lovato
recorded the next day behind the scenes of the program:
Britney advises participants to rehearse more before the hearing, many of whom arrive unprepared and end up being eliminated. About
the candidates more easily adopt more kittens, Britney says that beauty
to help, but she really tries to focus on the talent of each. By
playing with Demi in the interview, she talks about a participant who
sang rap and she did not know whether it was good or bad, because she
did not hear this kind of sound.
The next round of auditions will be in Greensboro, North Carolina, on July 8. Below are some videos of the third day:
