In 2010, Britney Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, granted an interview with LA Confidential and commented on his work on the pop scene and credited by Britney take back the reins of your life - the interview was only discovered now by fans.
"I do my part, and with Britney I do it very well. When I went back to her life, I knew what she needed to put things back in order. In the end, all I do is a kind of help, a guide - it is really the merits. Britney wanted to win. She had the same enthusiasm and momentum of his early career, and she still has it."
Rudolph admits that there is a separation between the "superstar Britney" and "Britney's real life," and he knows all too intimately the two.
"For those who know her today, she is 'Britney Spears: The international icon,'" he says. "It does not mean that to me, and never will. It's just that girl from Kentwood, Louisiana, who I met when she was 13. I think we have a unique relationship that would really be impossible for her to have with another person. I know better than anyone."
Besides Britney, Larry also helped shape the careers of Justin Timberlake, Jessica Simpson, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, and more recently, DJ Pauly D, but he still did not understand the magnitude of his work with superstars like Britney.
"I do not think the social impact of what I'm doing, but I recognize the fact that I do absolutely have a great impact on culture and, yes, I'm very proud."
