Britney wants to prove everybody wrong about it (the X-Factor), sources say!

According to the website Radar Online, Britney told friends that the singer is ready to take over as X Factor judge on the program and that she feels more than able to handle the pressure in the media, contrary to what has been published by the press.

"Britney is aware of what the critics are saying about it. She is eager to prove to everyone that she is not just a 'dumb blonde' and she has the support of Jason, the monitor at all times during the hearings and in the filming of the program" a source told the site. "Britney has done a lot of questions about the steps of the program and is seeking advice from Simon Cowell about how she could become the best judge possible. She is aware of the comments that Howard Stern has done on it recently, saying that the only reason that will make people watch the program is that it is a walking disaster. She just does not care that he made these comments. Britney does not take it seriously and knows that he is just trying to promote America's Got Talent. Britney is excited for the public to know a new side of her and is using the criticism to give you motivation to prove everybody wrong."

However, the boyfriend of Britney was worried that she might not be able to cope with stress and will monitor it closely during the entire time.

"Jason is obviously concerned about the pressure that Britney is putting itself", the source said. "She is a perfectionist when it comes to his work, but it is still under the tutelage of his father and continues to consult a mental health professional at least once a week. If Jason felt that Britney needs more time with his psychiatrist, that no doubt will happen. Nothing matters more to Jason and the father of Britney than the happiness and welfare of her. If they felt that she could not handle this job, it certainly would not have accepted. The judge in charge of Britney's custody shall be notified promptly if she has any difficulty in the new work. We noted that Britney has been warmly accepted by Simon and LA Reid. It just does not want to disappoint them."

The hearings begin this week across the country and the presence of Britney on set will be adjusted according to the times that she has with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

"The boys are welcome on the set and they have a corner reserved for play. Britney loves her children very much and was grateful that they also have been upheld", the source said. "Simon wants Britney really feel that employees and executives of the X Factor will become your second family."
