Brian Friedman: "I shouted 'tiger' with her during the filming!"

Just because Britney Spears is working in the video for Hold It Against Me with the same director (Jonas Akerlund) and the same designer (B. Akerlund) Telephone clip that does not mean that the video will reflect the extravagance of Lady Gaga and Beyonce. The Spears choreographer, Brian Friedman, told MTV News that the clip is "entirely Britney."

"The style of this video is beyond what Britney has done before" Brian says. "B. Akerlund is the designer of the clip, and I can not say something like 'Britney imitates Gaga'. Is not that what happens in the video. Gaga has its own place, and although the designer has worked previously with Gaga, Britney did not wear it with something that would Gaga. I love to see Britney try new things. It's just an extension of what already is Britney. "

With the possible comparison with Gaga already clarified, Friedman talked about playing with Spears on the set and helped her to recover as a joie de vivre (joy of living) that fans know and love when she is dancing.

"One of the moments that always tend to improve with Britney are the scenes in close when she's just dancing alone", he said. "And one of the little tricks I like to do is stay behind the camera and yelling at her to try to get motivate her and guide her through the scene where she is, so we did it in this video. And I know it was released a picture with multiple microphones around, and this is one scene in particular where I was yelling at her at his side - in a good way. "

So he yells at her? "Tiger! I scream tiger", he says. "When we started working and I was with her in the studio, I was referring to how she danced when we were working together in the past, when we create doing Slave, Toxic, things like that. She used to have a way to attack a predator and that to me was like a tiger, so I kept telling her: 'I want to see the tiger back', he said. 'I scream tiger, the word tiger seems to work. It makes her laugh, so it works. "
