Media criticism on "Hold It Against Me!

Reviews of "Hold It Against Me" made by four major music sites on U.S. and UK.

The Sun

Britney turns to stage "dubstep" in her new single. Hold It Against Me - her first single hit since March 2009 - is a song with a vision of what will be successful in the future and fashion in the British music scene. I was one of the few British journalists to hear the song before the official release and I have to admit I was surprised and impressed at the same time. The song comes armed with elements of the dance floor and with his trademark beats that are the face of the British movement. But at the same time is attractive enough for non-follower of "dubstep". The lyrics are full of sexual innuendo, but it is what is expected of a woman who sang about "menage" in her latest single. The song is easily their single most experimental to date.

Daily Star

Written by his favorite collaborators Max Martin and Dr. Luke, the new sound of Britney exudes the best things the singer - great catchy chorus and lyrics sexy - with the addition of beats that will leave sharp Robyn Rihanna and green with envy. The desire to Britney Spears in her new single is a DJ! Hold It Against Me seduces! "If I said I want your body now / Would you hold it Against Me" she sings before releasing: "You feel like paradise and I need a vacation." Manufacturing continues to piedadade without pumping until you reach a "middle eight "Incredible, where in a" break trance euphoric Brit gives the best of his vocal sigh. The song will be a great success.

Digital Spy

The verses of the heart beat as a teenager when he takes his shirt off Robert Pattinson in Twilight. The choruses as your head spin after a dose of vodka, sucking you into the first listen. Then there's the break: A whisper! Playing with the vocals! Synthesizers directly from San Antonio! So easy with a letter, we are convinced that againstme Hold It is the best song from Spears Womanizer and possibly Piece Of Me Although not exactly exclusive produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin, does not sound like a song Ke $ ha or Katy Perry. Actually, it sounds like a song Britney improved for 2010, which is "clubby" enough to sing along and stand beside Only Girl (In This World) on your iPod, but also good enough to stand beside Britney Classics - Listen as she sings "hazy" for example. Oh, Britney do we really doubt you one day? Actually yes, but rest assured that we are now ashamed of that.

The Guardian

The new single from Britney Spears, Hold It Against Me - the first of its seventh album - which almost became an event. Demo versions leaked, "tweets" have increased the excitement of Britney and her record label said she had only one copy in the UK (the disk that contained a cover of Willow Smith and his hair was close to a "BS" to deceive). Over heavy beats and harmonies, with synths, Britney tries to win with flirtations ("If I said I want your body now / Would you hold it Against Me?") Giving us phrases commonly used in the ITV program Take Me ("You feel like paradise and I need a vacation tonight "). It flows in a cool, sweet vocals contrast with industrial beats (courtesy of Dr. Luke and Max Martin) to a screeching halt at around two minutes, first turning to the "grimey" and "dubstep" (Rusko is helping on the album) and then attack a chord "ravey" appear before the chorus come again. Madonna I anticipate releasing an album influenced by "dubstep" to the end of the year.
