Billboard: "Single of Britney selling 411,000 downloads, and hit record!"


As expected, the single Hold It Against Me by Britney Spears is a successful debut and information has just been confirmed by Billboard magazine.

The song will debut first in the parade Digital Songs with a total of 411,000 downloads sold the first week alone. This is not only the best week of digital sales of Spears, as is also the highest debut for a female solo artist.

With this result, Britney takes the record that belonged to her in 2008 with Womanizer (286,000 downloads in its debut week) and now for Taylor Swift in February 2010, as the song Today Was a Fairytale sold 325,000 downloads .

Send H*A*M, Kanye West and Jay Z, who released the same day that Hold It Against Me, has sold 125,000 downloads. What The HellAvril Lavigne has reached the milestone of 163,000 downloads this week.

Tomorrow will be released the complete rankings, as well as the Hot 100, Billboard.
