The former manager of Britney Spears, Sam Lutfi, Lynne Spears is accused of biased and damages because of the quotes that made him as a descendant of the Middle East, the book Britney Spears: The Story Behind the Success.
Sam's lawyer submitted on Tuesday a 47-page affidavit in court to sustain the decision of Judge Zaven V. Sinanian we'd rather an act of prejudice in the book. However, Lynne appealed the decision claiming that Sam's reputation was already damaged due regardless of any act thereof.
In the book, Lynne writes that Sam is "a Middle Eastern man," a cunning man who dresses badly and engages hostility, cruelty and lies... ."
Sam says Lynne compared it to anti-Semitic novel by George du Maurier, Trilby (Book that inspired The Phantom of the Opera).
"By making reference to ethnicity Mr. Lutfi and his skin color... make the claim that Britney drugged to keep her under his control... We can draw a parallel with the Britney character in the book by George Du Maurier, Svengali... who used hypnosis to control, exploit and sexually assaulting...", said attorney Sam.
