Edgard Piccoli recalls interview with Britney

The "O Globo" newspaper organized a special old VJ's from MTV Brazil, to know the stories and the backstage of the station in the year he celebrates 20 years of existence.

Edgard Piccoli, says he had the honor of being the only Brazilian to speak with White Stripes and Pearl Jam on the occasion of the bands coming to Brazil. He even went to wooed by Cindy Lauper, who made a call a little indiscreet.

In addition to highlighting the first live broadcasts of concerts and trips to the beach during the summers, Edgard revealed a curiosity about an interview he made with Britney in 2001, during his visit to Brazil to play at Rock in Rio III.

"At the end of the interview with Britney Spears to assistant came to tell her that she said at last had been interviewed by a handsome man. Being considered beautiful by Britney? Big deal!" Snubbed the former VJ.
