Even with only three singles released worldwide throughout this year, Britney Spears is among the artists with plays on Last.fm.
The singer has one of the best historical plays since the creation of virtual network in 2002, when it was still dominated by the British. And currently occupies the eleventh place, just behind artists who had albums of new material and a greater number of singles released during the year.
In July, Britney was on the list of artists with most tracks excluded from fans to the site and is in second place with "Womanizer, having become the most played track in 2008.
