The team's Pop Crush elected the top ten of the Best Songs of 2011 - and of course Britney Spears appeared in the first place! Following are the Call Your Girlfriend of Robyn, Mr. Know It All of Kelly Clarkson and Someone Like You of Adele.
1. The year 2011 is Spears, in January when Hold It Against Me topped the charts - but Godney had something even better up its sleeve, the crackling song for the dance floor, Till the World Ends, written by Ke$ha and messy produced by monster hit maker Dr. Luke. It's a great song of celebration, with provocative lyrics ("This kicked in got your tongue tied in knots, I see", any volunteers?), Throbbing synths and an exciting euphoric chorus, with a choir - there were no other song pop so lush this year.
