Britney Spears won I Wanna Go to the top spot on the pop radio format according to Mediabase, last Sunday (4). This
is the sixth time that the singer put a single on top: ...Baby One
More Time, Oops!... I Did It Again, Toxic, Womanizer and Circus. Billboard
(Pop Songs), the song has yet to be finalized in the first place, since
the system of calculating them is not measured by audience, but the
number of times that the song was played on the radio. Probably next week the single will reach the first position. The song follows stable on the radio and on iTunes (top 20). On the Canadian Mediabase, I Wanna Go also won the top of the pop radio format.
In Europe, I Wanna Go has risen 16 points over last week and reached a new position (# 13) on radio. This is the third song of the Femme Fatale in the top 15. Hold
It Against Me peaked at number 15, and Till The World Ends, which is
already on the table for 20 weeks, had the eighth highest point. In
France, I Wanna Go reached number one on radio and has sold more than
45,000 downloads - Hold It Against Me: 30,000 downloads, Til the World
Ends: 95,000 downloads.
