Mini-show of Britney in San Francisco creates discord!

Loving or hating, citizens of the Castro District, sub-district of Eureka Valley in San Francisco, are going crazy with the idea of Britney Spears visiting the city, reports the San Francisco Examiner.

While many are excited about the mini-concert of pop star at the end of the month, some traders are not satisfied with the chosen day and the streets will be closed.

Restaurants, bars and coffee shops will benefit from the multitude of fans of Castro Street between 19th to 27th of March, however, officials of Cliff's Variety, say they do not need the Britney fans who will bring.
"It will end with the two blocks of parking on Sunday", said Martha Asten, owner of Cliff's Variety. "It's just an advertisement. We are not impressed", she added.

Ebba Story, owner of The Bead Store agrees with Asten. "I think they realize we're not here", Story about the fans. "We can even close."

The idea is to close two blocks to save the Good Morning America on Sunday (27th) and pass it on Tuesday (day 29). Police control the fans, part of them, an undetermined number, will be in the "area off the show. ABC (radio station that transmits the "GMA") agreed to reimburse expenses.

Others say that these events in the Castro District are good, especially during a crisis in the economy. Alan Beach-Nelson, president of the Association of Residents of the neighborhood, was not present at the meeting about the event last week with the producers of ABC, but said that deep down everyone is happy. "I think most companies will benefit. Fans will want to drink coffee, eat something. Even though chaotic."

Britney is also expected by some youth organizations such as the Lavender Youth Recreation, Information Center and Larkin Street Youth Services.
