Performance of "Hold It Against Me" after the debut of music video!

Released on Thursday (17) at 21h55, the long awaited video for Hold It Against Me seems to be among the fan favorites and shows a great performance on the Internet.



After the premiere, the video recorded in less than 24 hours over 2.5 million views on the singer's channel on YouTube. This number has almost tripled the next day, reaching more than 6.5 million. At the end of the fourth day, Hold It Against Me surpassed 10 million views - if compared with the previous releases of the singer on the web, this is already one of his best performances on the video website. Hold It Against Me was also adopted as a favorite for almost 39 000 users of YouTube, receiving over 107,000 comments so far.

Optimum performance was expected, since the teasers and the 14 30-second preview released in the last two weeks accounted for more than 15 million views, and became the major news portals in the world.


The premiere of the video was on MTV USA during prime time in 17 days and had 3.5 million viewers when it began to exhibit - four minutes later that number doubled, growing by 7.5 million viewers. 


And the result could also be quickly noticed the iTunes store. In the chart that records the performance of best-selling video clips, Hold It Against Me is in first place in 10 countries (Australia, Canada, United States, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland), second in two countries (Austria and New Zealand), third in the UK and fourth in Luxembourg. Speaking in the UK, the clip Hold It Against Me was broadcast 90 times in just two days in the country, and in its fifth day the video already is in 32 th position with 187 views in the list of RadioMonitor - the agency that monitors the views of video clips on TV. The single also rose in the ranking of most songs purchased on iTunes U.S., jumping from Top 30 to Top 15, reaching the 12th position - at the moment, Hold It Against Me is in 17 th position in the ranking.


It is noteworthy that by the time Britney has made no disclosure of their music. The video, which is the minimum you can receive a single, was the first step of the singer in his new phase Femme Fatale - performances, magazine covers and interviews are expected, but no date has yet to be accomplished - and thus, are significant results with virtually no disclosure. As the choreographer Brian Friedman commented on Twitter, Femme Fatale is just beginning...
