The site Breathe Heavy reported that Britney Spears will attend the 83th edition of the Oscars, making the fans believe in at least a taped appearance on red.
Entertained, blogger Perez Hilton decided to correct the information: "Sources told us that Britney will not really an Oscar, but fans can expect a very exciting announcement from Britney during one of the commercials."
The Academy Awards takes place this Sunday at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live to over 200 countries.
