According to the
Star stufs, the new Britney album of new material to be released in
October. The source of the site ensures that a member of the
Contact Music participated in a meeting with directors of the label, and such member walked revealing certain information.
"Yesterday we were in a meeting with the staff of Britney Spears and was told that 70% of the songs from the new album should leak until Halloween (late October). A tour was also briefly discussed, and then the release dates of songs and the album's first single, which is scheduled for late August."
The site also speculates that one of the main ideas of Britney for the new album, was not accepted by Jive Records. Coincidentally, there's a rumor saying that such an idea would bring the "old Britney" back.
The album promises to be quite urban, with a beat euro
dance/pop producer emphasized by
DJ Tiesto and
David Guetta.
