Britney Spears was competing in the category International Album of the Year with Circus(2008). And unfortunately she lost to Kings of Leon with the album Only By The Night(2008). A pity!
Who was also in dispute was Black Eyed Peas with The E.N.D.(2009); Susan Boyle with I Dreamed A Dream(2009) and Taylor Swift with Fearless(2008).
