MTV Special - "Radar" (2009)

Britney Spears has been compared to Madonna since she entered the scene of pop music, dancing in a school uniform. The two finally met in Me Against The Music, but the video for Britney's Radar, from her albu
m Circus, was really a tribute to the queen of pop and his ultra-glamorous days of Bedtime Stories.

In the video, Britney is stuck in a love triangle with two polo players very sensual, which spend much of their time trying to impress Spears or riding their horses. Britney has joined the director of Boys, Dave Meyers, the ode to Take a Bow, Madonna.

"That was the premise behind Radar. We were looking for a way to take it to a contemporary first", said Meyers. "I felt authorized to make this reference to the video of Madonna. Britney had not done anything like that. "

Meyers had a very clear idea of what I wanted for the script of the video. "It's a narrative, a love triangle in an end-to-week in a luxurious polo club. A romance novel", Dave said.

Britney was apparently nervous around the guy who played his lover in the video, but Meyers said that shyness captured the essence of Britney. "She was very shy with him. She is very beautiful too. I think Britney is that many of us know and love. It was good to work it out it", said Meyers.

Despite all the beat and energy of music, the video is noticeably free of choreography. "Do not miss the dance. When the watch, I feel that all the cuts and effects between scenes kept alive the rhythm of the song", Dave concluded.
